For those of you who need the power of a true dedicated
server, look no further. ET Web Hosting offers a full line of high quality
dedicated
servers -- all fully managed in
the same way we manage our own shared servers. We
will take care of everything for you, from kernel upgrades to apache/php/mysql
and other system software. (More information about the definition and details
of our full server management is here.)
All our dedicated servers are built using top of the line server-quality
hardware (not desktop). We only
use the highest grade Supermicro servers, which have the finest quality parts
and cooling chassis.
Our fully managed severs include cPanel/WebHost Manager, Fantastico Auto-Installer,
and the excellent Rvskin cpanel theme. You will have access to your server
via the "usual" WebHost
Manager software.

Since our dedicated server solutions are true fully managed, root SSH is not
offered. If you require any root commands to be executed, just submit a helpdesk
ticket and we'll take care of it immediately. The reason behind our "no
root SSH" policy is because we can't truly offer a fully managed server
if we're not the only ones with root access to it. (This is the same reasoning
as with
our managed
dedicated servers, and this policy has worked well now for over a year.)
